What are some memorable projects for you?

Currently I’ve only worked on our mortgage-backed securities cases. As my role in this company develops, so does my interest in all the data that is collected, and therefore each individual case becomes a new opportunity for expanding my knowledge and finding better solutions.

What lessons have you learned over your career?

Stay positive, find reasons to admire others, and keep asking questions.

What made you choose your career path?

Although this position didn’t begin as a career path, I decided to pursue it because the creativity that is necessary to achieve it attracts me. My process for finding solutions to storing and organizing data is oddly similar to my passion for scenic design. In the end, I feel that in both disciplines I’m able to collaborate and bring together many moving pieces to help others understand a joint vision.

Why did you choose to work for Greenfield Advisors?

At the time, the temporary position I began in was the perfect solution for my theatre schedule. However, I quickly became inspired by all the intelligence that our team is made up of and wanted to find a place where I could also excel.

Where did you grow up?

In Seattle. My family came here from Poland to visit for the summer, and we’ve been in love with the mountains and ocean ever since.

What was your first job?

As the oldest girl in the neighborhood I also became the babysitter. I’d pick up eight kids from school each day and bring them to one house, where we’d do homework and play. I did this through my young teens, so at the time I was mainly interested in the complimentary fruit snacks that my mom never allowed at our house.

What are your favorite ways to spend your free time?

Designing theatre sets and rock climbing. I like to be home once every few weeks to bake a lasagna as well.

Tell us about your family.

I have two younger brothers, a father who works across the street, and a mother who loves to text me cat photos. The rest of our family is in Poland, evenly split between designers and mathematicians, which is probably where I get my love for patterns.

What’s your favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere with an equally excited soul. All the trails in Washington and northern Peru stay at the top of my list. There’s also a little town in Mexico where no one speaks English and one lady makes burgers the size of your head in her kitchen. You can wait to eat on her sofa in the living room or on a plastic chair on her porch. There is an entire layer dedicated to avocado. Pure magic.

What’s on your bucket list?

To rock climb a route so long that I have to pitch a tent and sleep on a vertical wall.

What’s one habit you do on a daily basis?

Think about how I wish I had a daily habit.

Give us a few surprising facts about you that people may not know.

I’m obsessed with TV shows about vigilantes, Arrow being at the top. The obsession is so great and powerful that I spend my time busy at work and the theatre because I’m afraid I’d give up everything just to watch these shows all day long if given the chance.
